Are you tired of that pesky OEM hood prop rod, or is it completely missing? Here is your solution!! The EZ Lift hood strut system!!
This is a game changer for your truck! No more working around the terribly placed OEM prop rod. No more looking through the scrap bin for a piece of all-thread to hold up the hood!

With the EZ Lift hood struts, you simply pop the hood and the hood opens on its own!! The struts are mounted towards the rear of the engine bay, out of the way when you are under the hood!!

Another added benefit, this kit raises the hood height by 2" (Maxing out the hinges) This makes working under the hood much nicer, it also lets in more natural light!!

The mod you didn’t know you needed

Bought one of these sets for my 87 pickup thinking I’d give it a shot to check out. I’ve had newer cars with these and never thought much about it and just got used to the old hood prop and reaching across my bumper to reach the hole in the hood. Butafter getting these and installing on my lifted truck it’s an absolute game changer! Parts included are all good quality, brackets are stout and painted, struts seem like high quality and even the rivets are good quality. After installing on my truck, bought another set to install on my 4Runner. Highly recommend this kit!

Above and beyond

I just want to say that Austin is pretty cool guy. He helped me out with an issue I was having in regards to not receiving an item. He sent another one out and when it arrived, it also came with my previous order. He didn't have to, but he did even though it wasn't his fault. USPS lost track of it but I guess they found it and I received 2 of the same items. So I'm going to return one of them. AVR customs great business. A+++ , Thanks, man..
