All in all not bad I did have to modify and change a few things to fit my 2 inch body lift but it turned out great and took a lot of the guesswork out of making it.i did use 1/4" for the wintchplate and 3/16" for the rest. I wish you could print the blueprints off at home and maybe just be able to print one section of it at a time. but with some patience i was able to get them and then trace an extra copy which was a good idea for me. The hardest thing about this project was the paint. But I like the way it looks and turned out. Thank you and look forward to doing the back bumper in the future.
I bought the dxf file and cut out on my cnc. File was perfect, all parts fit together and were the proper size. I dont think i needed to modify a single piece for fit. I added a few things in my cad program but only for personal preference. Built the entire bumper on my table without the vehicle. Bolted on and fit perfectly. Give credit where its due, this is an excellent file
I love it looks so good if you can I recommend using c channel for the base plate so it doesn’t flex at all. Overall I love the design
Great looking bumper well designed, paper templates were spot on! Quite a bit of planning went into getting the info needed before and during assembly. I built mine out of all 1/4” plate and welded with 1/16” wire, it was a little heavier but solid. This Took about 8 hours from unboxing temples to finished product as an experienced welder/fabricator. Definitely a recommended purchase I will be getting the rear template in the quick near future
Very happy with the overall product I received and can’t wait to put it together and get the rear done as well
