Are you tired of that pesky OEM hood prop rod, or is it completely missing? Here is your solution!! The EZ Lift hood strut system!!
This is a game changer for your truck! No more working around the terribly placed OEM prop rod. No more looking through the scrap bin for a piece of all-thread to hold up the hood!
With the EZ Lift hood struts, you simply pop the hood and the hood opens on its own!! The struts are mounted towards the rear of the engine bay, out of the way when you are under the hood!!
Another added benefit, this kit raises the hood height by 7"! This makes working under the hood much nicer, it also lets in more natural light!!

Awesome!
These were fairly easy to install and after watching your video I was confident on installing the struts. The scary part was drilling the holes for the hardware. The struts are awesome and I don't have to deal with the hood prop anymore. Glad I installed them, the government for the prop was falling apart.

Nice hood struts. Installation was pretty straightforward. You will need a rivet gun for this. And maybe someone to hold the hood up while you drill the bottom brackets ;D

Light and hood struts are a must have! Even though we don’t spend a lot of time under our hoods, when we do have to do something under the hood it’s a game changer having both the struts and the light. It’s amazing how much more open the engine compartment feels. Thanks for making quality products!
Installation is a little harder than implied. You need either a short body drill or a 90d drill for the base supports and a rivet tool for the hood supports. Luckily I had those. Love how they work.
These worked fantastic on my 1st gen Tacoma and it’s nice to have that prop rod gone and out of the way. Great product and some of the best customer service I have ever received!
