Are you tired of that pesky OEM hood prop rod, or is it completely missing? Here is your solution!! The EZ Lift hood strut system!!
This is a game changer for your truck! No more working around the terribly placed OEM prop rod. No more looking through the scrap bin for a piece of all-thread to hold up the hood!

With the EZ Lift hood struts, you simply pop the hood and the hood opens on its own!! The struts are mounted towards the rear of the engine bay, out of the way when you are under the hood!!

Very simple to install! This kit installs in under 30 minutes using basic tools!

These work great. One of my favorite mods to my FJ40. So nice not having the stock hood prop that is always in the way when working under the hood. Easy install with clear instructions too.

I put them on my hood. Does remember when you go to mount the small part of it on the hood itself, then it goes up, otherwise you can't shut your hood.. then, you have to go buy new pop rivetsfor. After you drill those ones out... But super easy to install. If I would have done it right the first time about twenty minutes. And so much nicer, call the center of your hood. Now a new both latches and let go, it opens right up. They're friggin' awesome!! I have a 1965 fj45 project that's next in line in a couple years hopefully. I will definitely be putting them on it. I would highly recommend these. And if I still had the hard top on it, I would buy those also
